Day 13 - Miss Independent

Raegan is at the age where she has become very independent. When she is determined to do something on her own, and I try to help her, she responds with, "NO, MEEEE!" So, I let her do it until she asks for my help. This is one of those times. She wanted a turkey and cheese sandwich and insisted on making it herself. I must say, she did a very good job!

Day 12 - Favorites - Candles

A little off topic, but this is just about a candle my neighbor, Heather, gave me. It is a Circle E candle in the Kiwi Strawberry scent. I absolutely love the way it smells! So, of course, I had to take some pictures of it!

Day 11 - My Half Marathons

In the last year, I have really taken up running. I completed my first half marathon in November 2008 in San Antonio, and my second one January 2009 in Houston. I ran the San Antonio half marathon in memory of my Opa. I am from San Antonio, so I wanted my first one to be special to me, and I know he was there cheering me on! The Chevron Houston 1/2 Marathon was run in memory of my mother in law, Tish. I know how proud each one of them would be of me, and it was my way of letting them know how much I miss and love them both!

Day 10 - Callie and Joey

We have 2 animals. Joey is our dog and Callie is our cat. I rescued Callie when she was about 4 weeks old from a cemetery. I was visiting a family friend's grave, when this little calico kitten followed me everywhere I went, meowing the whole time. I couldn't just leave her, so I took her to my Mom's house. She got her all cleaned up for me, so I could take her home. I decided to name her Callie...short for Calico. Joey is our cocker spaniel that Santa brought Dylan in 2005. He is wonderful with our children and we could not have asked for better pets (although sometimes I don't think they know they are actually animals...lol). As you can see, Joey puts up with alot...

Day 9 - Caught in the candy jar

Raegan is definitely her Daddy's child. She loves coke, candy, and cake. She will do whatever she can to get it, and, she likes to sneak them when can. She was caught with her hands in the candy jar here. The pictures say it all...

Day 8 - It's WII WII time!

We have started playing our WII as a family, and Dylan absolutely loves it! Every day when I pick him up from school he asks me, "Mommy, can I play the WII WII when we get home?" He is really beginning to master the sports games. He's even beat Mommy a time or two. If you notice in the second picture he got a strike - his FOURTH one this game! Daddy challenges him too, but doesn't always win...

Day 7 - Valentine's Day Party

Dylan is in the Pre-K program at Stepping Stones Day School. For Valentine's Day, they held a party for their class. They each got snacks and valentines cards from all of their friends. He has a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Cha, and he has so much fun in her class, and he loves school..........we'll see how long that lasts!

Day 6 - Raegan's Pink Eye

My sweet baby girl woke up one morning with pink eye. It wasn't too bad at the time, but I decided to stay home with her anyway. We spent the day together and it got worse, so I took her to the doctor. I ended up taking off work 2 days to get her all better, and we had a great time bonding (since everyone knows what a Daddy's girl she is!). She is all better now and was a true CHAMP when it was time to put drops in her eyes!

Day 5 - Raegan's Photo Shoot

Raegan had a mini "photo shoot" while in Round Rock. She does not like to cooperate with me when we have these little sessions, but I got a few really good ones. She loved being outside and looking at the ducks and the water.

Day 4 - A tad behind...

So....I have taken some time off from this already, but am gearing it back up!

We spent the weekend in Round Rock with my friend Marie. Dylan and Presley were inseparable all weekend and he had the best time. They have a creek in their neighborhood that we went to and threw rocks in the water. Dylan actually threw one at Presley (on accident!) and left a nice memorable scar near her eye! We were walking down to the creek and looked up and saw three donkeys across the way eating grass. They are kind of hard to see, but they are in the second photo.

Day 3 - Bath Time for Raegan

One of Raegan's favorite things to do is take a bath (or "bass" as she calls it...). She already loves bubble baths and has to pour the bubbles in herself. As you can see, she can be a ham for the camera!

Day 2 - Sleeping Beauties

Mondays are difficult for me. I work until 4:00, pick up the kids from day care, come home, then turn around and leave again to go to school until 10:00. So by the time I get home, everyone is sleeping. I tried to get some cute ones of them sleeping, but I am still learning the settings on my camera. Raegan had her binky, blanket, and her 2 baby dolls. She must sleep with all these at night. They both looked sweet as can be. You be the judge...

Day 1 - Day at the park

We spent an hour at the park in our neighborhood and had a great time. The weather was absolutely perfect and the kids had a blast! I could post a hundred photos of the day, but I will limit it to just a few... ;)
